The SGBCC General Meeting on the 3rd of August, 2025 saw the five resolutions all defeated with almost unanimous NO votes from the more than 800 members in attendance. This is an important result for two reasons. Firstly, it means the land associated with the Vincentia Golf Club remains core, so there can be no sell-off or development without members’ approval. There has been diverse activity & negotiations happening in the background, but the requirement for confidentiality and discretion prevented disclosure.
