On May 30, JBCSC received a letter from SGBCC CEO Ben Clegg on behalf of the SGBCC Board demanding a "firm bid for de-amalgamation no later than 12pm Monday 23rd June 2025” On Friday June 20, JBCSC submitted a bid letter detailing a firm and fair offer, consistent with the unanimous SGBCC Board decision made in late December 2024, i.e., the bid has met SGBCC Board’s original position regarding de-amalgamation.
